Thought maybe I should write one since it's kinda one of my new year's resolutions to write more journals, and I'm not just meaning here on dA, I mean in real life too.
I'm not really much good at keeping journals/diaries and stuff.... but apparently I'm supposed to be this thing called a 'reflective practitioner'...... once I qualify I'll be considered a professional and as such I'm supposed to reflect on the work I do. So I made it a resolution to try and keep a learning journal at least.
Thing is I'm not much good at it. I don't know what the problem is but I have real issues talking about my feelings (and it's considered to be un-British as well). Each time I sit down and try to write my brain shuts down... so yeah .... not really sure how to fix that one.

I'll probably edit this journal later on.... but I want to have a list of things I want to achieve this year so I can cross things off as I go (or add to them)

When I picked up the notification for this I was actually feeling pretty grouchy after a long day on hospital placement! So thank you so so so much my lovely!    

Moving along.... I've finished my current placement block and I've re-installed Sai on my PC so hopefully get down to drawing again soon.... although I do also have a ton of essays   but I'm really missing drawing and writing right now. I've been so stressed out the past few weeks and I think I deserve to treat myself so..... yeah...

On a sorta related but not really topic...... what does everyone think of Twilight Princess being re-released for the Wii U? I actually really loved that game.... I know it had its' flaws but I'm really eager to see what's been changed around. Plus I'm hoping for some adjustment on the controls (i.e. having gamecube style controls rather than motion control).

Due to family stuff I won't be able to go to comic-con this weekend anymore

So... just about got all PC issues sorted, although I still need an external hard drive so I can get stuff off my dead laptop I really don't wanna have to pay for SAI all over again as well as hunting down all the custom brushes I installed.
Gonna be back on placement in a couple of weeks, and I'm actually looking forward to it! It's only a six week placement and I've also decided that I'm gonna go for a 1st class degree.... no second best.... which means at least 70% on absolutely everything from now on! But assignments this year are a bit more interesting sooo.... as long as I stay organised everything should be fine!

And I gave up trying to install my old manga studio 4 on my new computer (stupid reader no wanna play) and I went on the website to see if I could download using the product key, but they stopped supplying it So I just decided to treat myself to some new software instead I think I deserve it and I'm hoping to get back on the case with Red Earring very soon! 

Let's see..... what else.... Oh yeah.... London Comic-con next month..... I'll be there.... cosplaying Ryuk from Death Note..... so throw an apple if you see me there (you might want to check it's actually me first -.-)
